Artist History Letdown originated in 1995. In 1997, they recorded their debut album on Zygote Records and released it at the end of 1998. The band has undergone a number of guitarist changes and is now solid with the recent addition of the Hidalgo brothers (bass and drums), kids of Los Lobos leader David Hidalgo.
