Artist History High school friends Eric, Brad and Brian played together in high-school before each moved away.Eric to L.A. and Brad to Boston.Brads band Gripe doing really well in Mass. decided to call it quits around the same time Eric called Brad to move to L.A. to play in a band called Artificial Joy signing a deal with Universal Records. As the merger forced many bands to lose their deals,Eric and Brad came back to Florida to reunite with family and high-school friends to form a new band. With the addition of vocalist Shawn Scheller, Honeyweed was born November, 1998. Honeyweed has since garnered much praise and developed a strong fan base in their hometown, Tampa. .Honeyweed is definitely a very strong and energetic band that gets better and better every time you see them.
