Artist History
Started playing piano when I was 6 and violin when I was 7.
Picked up electric and acoustic guitar at the age of 14 (yeah, when I started to get a bit rebellious with rock'n roll).
Bought my first synthesizer Roland JV-90 in 1994.
Made a lot of midi transcriptions and covers.
Also dozens of unfinished bits and pieces of songs.
Finially my first complete sequence, Darkman 154, came out in the spring of 1998.
Then later that year, there was Future Memories.
The most recent song, Oxygene 99, came out in the summer of 1999.
All songs are made by my Roland XP-50 synthesizer with the Dance expansion board.
During the spring of 1999, I hosted a radio show on WRCT-Pittsburgh FM 88.3Mhz, a college radio station in Carnegie Mellon University.
My show, Jazoo!, plays techno and Japanese alternative/pop music.
That was when I started using DJ Atras as my air-name. |
