Shortly thereafter, the Swindlers were playing with bands like Violent Society, Hudson Falcons, and the Boils. In 1999 the band was signed by Vile Beat, an indie label from suburban Maryland. Press Reviews
"Driving punk that lies somewhere between poppy hardcore and ska-core. The ska thing is pulled off without being too annoying and when they're rockin' the DAYCARE SWINDLERS kick ass. Reminiscent of APOCALYPSE HOBOKEN's finer moments and has an old SoCal sound to it at times too. This is cool, blows most of the stuff on Fat and Epitaph these days out of the water..." -MRR #202 |
