Artist description
In a phrase: Hectic Eclectic.
One big happy variety show, that caters to every
taste, every style, every mood,while
simultaneously bucking the mainstream and
remaining glued to the very edge of musical
innovation. A Joy Ride of Musical Mind Expansion
with no traces of intimidation, unnerving anxiety,
or shock factor that seem so in vogue with current
music experimentation. Those who just want to
listen at face value will be pleasantly surprised
at the lyrical thoughtfullness infused in the
music. Those however, who seek to truly learn
about the nature and sprit of musical versatility,
will be taken aback by both the contrasts,
confusion and nuggets of possible meaning behind
our music. Our band is nothing less than a
giddy hodge-podge, and nothing more than an
idealistic melting pot of diversity.

Artist History
Started in 1998 as 3 Highschoolers (a gentle
accoustic virtuoso, a manical piano pounder, and
a brilliant bass basher), who all liked playing
original, creative tunes, but sufferred from all
having devastatingly different tastes in music.
After several brief stints of searching for a
proper direction, and of trying to maintain a
steady percussionist, the 3 muscicians got wise
and grounded itself in the teachings of family
friend and legend, Brass Ukelele player
Bill Fitzsimmons: They gave themselves a name
that no one could remember, and began to welcome
rather than shun their gift of unparrallel musical
diversity. Not worrying about the compatibility
of their songs, they frantically composed whatever
bizzare idea came into their heads, confident that
the versatility and ingenuity of the band would
allow them to pull it off. Through their live
shows and their just realeased album, doubters
of their eclectic nature are constantly being
proven wrong. |
