Artist History Started about 2 years ago, went through some lineup changes, drummer and singer, released a 6 song CDEP on Atomic Action!, and now we are playing shows all over New England/the east coast in support of out CDEP.

Press Reviews Listen.com said: Not since Swiz shook the foundations of the mellowing late-'80s DC hardcore scene has an East Coast band combined the fury of the area's Hardcore past with its more emotive side. Before I Break's guitars are completely full of energy, power, and noise. Drums both keep time and break it, bringing in an occassional '90s sense of quirky timing. In their faster songs, they pick you up, lift you over their hands, over their towering Marshall stack sound, and hurl you into oblivion. On the slower side, they still go for the throat, not sacrificing power for their softer side. Lumberjack distro said: This took me by surprise. I was expecting to hear math rock but instead I hear the sounds of post hardcore rock with a pinch of pop, that's packed with lots of energy and emotion. Gruff, melodic singing, rocking, melodic guitars, and upbeat to mid-tempo rhythms. Sounds like a cross of Quicksand, Hot Water Music, and Husker Du.Very impressive!
