Artist description 7th Rain is a group with a strong worship background that is moving into a contemporary style of music. That style is broad-based and appeals to all ages. Often acoustic driven contemporary/pop/folk rock (unless we are feelingalternative or 70ish on a particular day!)The new songs we are writing are bit more rock based so we have a diverse style to pull from depending on the need at each event...but all with that 7th Rain sound!

Musical Influences Each of us has brought different influences to the band... some of these include: Carole King, Matchbox 20, Amy Grant, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, U2, Keith Green, School House Rock, Disney's Main Street Band, & The Dave Mathews Band

Similar Artists We are a rather eclectic group. Each one of us has different influences and we just kind of merge those all together. So far just about every song sounds different. Take a listen and you decide!

Artist History 7th Rain grew out of friendships made on the worship team at church. As friends, we got together because we loved music and liked to play together. Eventually we were spending more and more time working on original songs and we were all really desiring to do more outreach ministry so we decided to officially declare ourselves a band. So, here we are trying to expand our musical abilities and give you a bit of what is inside of us. We are currently going back into the studio (Jan 2002)and starting our second music project. We shall see how we all have grown in these 3 years as a band.

Group Members Kevin Peck, Tammy Johnston, John Gross, Dawn Yoder, Leroy Hershberger, Erik Marner, Mark Nisley(Sound).

Instruments Leroy thumps the bass, Kevin plays Korg Keyboards, Dawn sings, plays some percussion, Tammy jams on the guitar, and John drives the drums and Erik rocks on guitar
