Press Reviews
these Swindon power-pop-punksters created an admirably melodic din much to the delight of their fanbase which enviably seemed to consist of statuesque young women.
Origin’s manifesto is to deliver three minute pop songs neatly wrapped in a metallic sheen that echo the likes of Foo Fighters and The Offspring.
Humour, intentional or not was provided by the heroically fringed drummer who obviously studied at the Keith Moon school of drumming. Certainly he could gurn for England and tore into his kit with mildly theatrical abandon.
Origin, aside from the occasional, slightly overindulgent guitar solos (we know you can play already!), Origin displayed in songs such as "Save Me From Myself", a knack for songwriting that should keep them head and shoulders above the countless identikit young pop punk bands on the scene. "
