    Artist History
DuneRaver started out way back in 1994 at the young and ripe old age of 14 (under the old name of "Lona"). Sitting in front of his "beast" (the 486 DX-33), he pumped out some of his first ever tracks (which most of you will NEVER get to hear because to be honest with you, some of them are REALLY bad!!!). His first track, called "Sensors", was a reasonable dancy tune that took a whole month to write. Anyway, through paitience and practise, he managed to get together his first album in 95 consisting of one of his (and still) all-time favourite tracks called "Smiley Face". Along with this album came the track "Journey of Love"; DuneRaver's first attempt at a happy hardcore track. Tracks between future albums have been swapped around since then but to date there are at least another three albums waiting to be released! However, from there on in, he has had plenty of practise including a subject in Year 10 called "Computer Music" to guide the way and a keen interest in computer audio and visual helped as well. A change of name from the former "Lona" to the now well known "DuneRaver" took place in late 97 after those three albums, a few too many drinks one night and many other tracks that were written under the name of "Lona". Now using a P166, DuneRaver has managed to pump out over 100 huge tunes to date (many still unheard of and lurking the dark, great depths of his hard drive). With tracks similar to the likes of Dune, Scooter, DJ Quicksilver, Tokyo Ghetto Pussy and Paul Van Dyk continuing to be "whipped" up, it looks as though DuneRaver still has a long, long way to go to explore and expose the full extent of the world of dance and techno! :)
