Artist History
Daniel K. Taylor entered the world of Electronic music durring the salad days of Acid House and Industrial Music of the mid 80's.He bought his first keyboard, the Kawaii KI-II after seeing Baby Ford in concert in 1990 and applied his lifetime of formal piano training to programming synthesizers and hex programming in old dos trackers.Constantly keeping an ear open for the future sounds of electronic music, Daniel has moved from the typical sounds of techno, trance, and rave music, to produce a new hybrid of electronic listening music. When Daniel is not quite his mellow self, you can be found creating music for Texas Noise Factory at http://www.mp3.com/texasnoisefactory |

Press Reviews
Reluctant to consign himself to one particular style, Daniel K. Taylor leaps from dreamy Deep House and Trip-Hop grooves to dubby Techno experiments; Hardcore beats and breaks follow shortly thereafter. Aurally disorienting, like your first day of elementary school. Melissa P. Daniel Taylor blurs the line between beats and notes. He uses extensive Gabba-free samples, but the rest is just brutal repetition that uses your head for a punching bag. However, between sessions of abuse, he'll sooth your ears with gentle yet cynical dreamscape ambiance. Marc K. |
