Artist History
Originally called "Maledict", Undertaker was formed in 1993 by drummer Dave Rodgers, guitarist Matt Rinehart, guitarist Mikel Wojtyszyn, and bassist Brian Fisher. Evolution saw the departure of Wojtyszyn from the lineup, being replaced by Otto Larson, and the official changing of the name to "Undertaker" in late 1993. Dallas Brown soon joined the group on vocals. The quintet entered the studio at the end of 1993 to record their only studio effort to date, "Necro-Thievery". Natural selection again reared it's ugly head with the replacement of bassist Brian Fisher by Dave Reeves soon after Necro-Thievery was released in early 1994. Rinehart departed the band in the summer of 1994. The band went on to hire replacement guitarists (including Tano Archuleta) and eventually saw it's ultimate demise in late 1994 / early 1995. |
