Artist History
Matney says, 'It all started one day when Eryq
came to me and said we should start a band. I
said ok, and we left it at that..not even
TOUCHING a guitar for months. Then I broke up
with my girlfriend, and started a band! It was
me and Eryq, both singing and playing guitar, a
greeser kid Hillbone playing bass, and Squink(my
little brother) on drums. We rocked, or atleast
we thought we did until Eryq brought Steve-O to
the band practice. Needless to say, we kicked
Hillbone out and Eryq moved over to Bass... That
went on for awhile, Eryq trying to sing, play
guitar, and bass ALL AT THE SAME TIME, it was
unorganized and Eryq blamed me. So we got a new
bass player, Tyler, and a keys player, Remi.
And we told Eryq he could NEVER touch a guitar
again. He was angry, but Scapegrace rocked all
over again. Then Eryq stopped showing up
practices, and I took over vox. I sucked, as I
still do, but I think I'm better than a lack of
a singer--don't you? Anyway, back to the story
at hand. About a month or two passed and
Scapegrace rocked the house, playing a few small
shows and keeping it real. Then Tyler stopped
showing up as well. Yup, bastard. We went
without a bassist for about 2 months, then Eryq
came back with his newly found bass skills and
rocked with Scapegrace just as hard as before.
ROCK!' And now We have Fletcher on vocals cuz he rocks. |
