Artist History
Fingerprints was founded in 1986 at UNT (Denton, TX). After playing jazz clubs in the Dallas area, the band added vocalist, Toni Redd and broadened it range garnering airplay on R&B and NAC formats. Their debut self titled CD sold nearly 10,000 copies and still is a fan favorite. The follow-up, Summertime Music saw the emergence of singer/songwriter Tim Jones. The opening track, "Whisper", features longtime friend saxophonist Marion Meadows. It is still a favorite among radio programmers across the country. The bands latest CD, DNA, is an all original set that shows off the group's seasoned compositions and seamless abality to cross many styiles. This disc also introduces newcomer, Ardina Lockhart. Her sultry vocals have made "So in Love" a bonafied regional hit. |
