Artist History
TJR's first instrument was piano and his first influence was Elton John. After he picked up the guitar he
he was drawn to blues driven bands like Led Zeppelin,Van Halen. All the while he never understood where the
music he was listening to was coming from. He played around in different bands and found that he could adapt
to different stlyes easily playing Rock, Pop, Metal, Alternative, Rap, Top 40 and anyplace inbetween. Then one
day he came to the realization that the only way to get Rock'n'Roll to the next level would be to get back to
it's roots and then move forward. TJR became enamored to the music of Rock and R&B's early pioneers. He Listened to
it, performed it and made it the foundation of his songwriting. This is evident on his first CD "Rip Roarin' Rock'n'Roll". For his 2nd CD
TJR recorded the first half electric with a full band and the 2nd half acoustic style with acoustic Lead and rhthm guitars, percussions effects,
and piano. |
