Press Reviews Venue: Midtown Tavern Date: March 29th 2002 Sigh Rodgers – What does it mean? Don’t know, but the band put on a well rehearsed and frequency filled night at the Midtown. I spoke to Kyle before the show and he filled me in on everyone’s stats: the band has been playing together for about 7 months now, stemming from Orlando, Ala Durdi ?, and Birmingham. Shit-loads of sequencing and sampling, solid drums ‘n’ rythms, and Guitars ‘n’ Bass that were itching to get out and get HEAVY. These guys sound serious and deserve an audience. The digital elements sound strongly influenced by Aphex Twin. Stick that into a small stage with Drum’n’Bass, add Guitars and Bass – stir with a couple of beers and 2 shots of tequila and you get……………..drum roll…………………………………… A wild excursion into a staccato frenzy of Trance, Drum’n’Bass, Mr. Bungle - having an acid trip-while slowly beating the crap outta Rush, stopping briefly to have a drink with Kruder & Dorfmeister. –phew…… "This sounds like something they play when you are walking to the electric chair." -Jim Philips (104.1 FM)

Additional Info Sigh Rodgers is currently re-recording the Since the 1920's album. The new album will include 2 new songs and ad more dynamics and emotion to all tracks posted on this site. Release date in August or Early September.
