Artist History Donna was born in New York City and grew up in the suburbs in New Jersey. She is the oldest of her five siblings. She learned to play the guitar mostly by watching others and going back home and practicing what she had seen. In high school she began writing songs about her faith experiences and has continued to do so. Donna's early days of singing at coffee houses has contributed to her personable and unpretentious style. She has shared her songs and led worship at conferences, retreats, and churches for over 20 years. Donna has also taught seminars on worship and related topics and is currently working on a book for worship leaders. Donna lives in central Virginia with her husband, Rick, and their seven children.
