Press Reviews Comprised of vocalist/guitarist Eddie Tillman, lead guitarist Justin Broderick, bassist Sean Snyder, and drummer Scott Straley, Blue Delta plays a mix of bluesy, psychedelic, soulful rock music. On songs like "Red House," the music resembles traditional blues, a la Stevie Ray Vaughan, largely in thanks to Broderick's skilled guitar work. However, their sound is not limited to blues. Songs like "Steppin' In" and "Spanish Moss" take unexpected twists, giving the music a psychedelic or alt-rock edge. Like similar-minded bands such as Phish and Widespread Panic, Blue Delta is known to break into extended jams. Thankfully, the band is talented and dynamic enough that the songs are always interesting. Dallas/Fort Worth will surely be hearing more from these guys soon.
