Artist History
with an appreciation for all music,I try to capture
the roots rock,culture and that driving force
on this musical journey. I am a native of Jamaica
born in Kingston. As a youngster I always loved
music and showed great interest in all instruments.
I studied different music and vocal styles.
In the early seventies I did an acappella style for
the "into the light" jamal Illiteracy program.
That same year I performed with two other brothers
for the richard ace band at J.B.C television station
and local hotels.
On a musical journey I traveled to the united states
in the late seventies. In the early eighties I linked up with Michael ranglin son of Ernest Ranglin. We first produced
a festival song. Shorly after along with Junior and Alton Smikle we formed a group called The Super Classic. We did a series of
singles including Reggae Music Gone International
Mento Medley and popular cover song like If you Should loose me.
Some of our song appeared on various artist albums.
We performed at numerous shows throughout New York city
I left the business briefly but alway contiued writing songs
In the nineties I started doing music with my wife
Empress Adama. I also wrote songs for the African love
institute that she is the co-directer for
In 1999 I worked with Bigga Haitian reggae dj
We performed at Culture Rama and also on boat
excursion. I was also involved in a succesful
showcase for Bigga Haitian which led him
to be singned to major recording company BMG Records.
I also recorded a number of songs with master musician
Iauwata Selassie. we did a popular soca single call
Pressure which released early 1999 on music movement label
My latest single ruckus is on music movement label
with determination we forward in the new millennium to the
making of significant contributions in the music industry.
