Artist description
Culled from the dregs of cheap large-liter red wine bottles and cut-out discount bins at Sounds records, Rose Kelly (the band, not Allister Crowley's wife of whom the band is named) is a conglomeration of menial tasks masquerading as sheer inspiration. Like an Iranian cabaret act this delicate musical association is confusing and difficult to pull off. Yet, the results reflect the intent sincerely. It is the battle of the inner-demons: alchemy, alcoholism, and apathy. Who will win? Who cares. |
