    Artist description
Pop meets jazz and electronica, with groovy bass lines and deep voice. I strive for quality in every aspect of songwriting - lyrics, chord changes, arrangement, production, vocals, musicianship, the overall sound - it's all equally important to me. I believe that music is a reflection of what an artist experiences. The things that make me laugh, the things that drive me nuts, the things that make life go round, love, peace, hate, anger, God - all of that will find its way to a song. I feel it, I live it and then I write about it. For me, it's about honesty. Bill Waterson, the writer of my favorite cartoon "Calvin and Hobbes", was right on when he wrote (about art today): Calvin: "Art isn't about ideas, it's about style. The most             crucial career decision is picking a good "ism"          so everyone knows how to categorize you          without understanding the work." I think it could easily translate into today's music business, but I have yet to come up with that "ism" for my style:) However, honestly, I just want to be free to write whatever I want to in the way it sounds the best.

    Artist History
I was born in Slovakia, and soon after I learned how to walk I tripped over the piano. Fascinated by the number of black and white keys, I took up piano lessons at the age of 8, and 7 years later I hated it as much as most kids in the music school; so I deserted it to only an occasional dusting when I had to clean up. Then I turned 16 and something happened. I don't know what it was, but I started playing again, and this time I was writing, too. At the age of 17 I went to the US as an exchange student and there I won my first talent show. Since then I've felt and known that this is my path. In 2001 I recorded my first demo - 5 songs total. "Down By The Water" won in a nationally broadcasted talent show, was remixed and published on a promotional CD, and together with my other songs made it to the top of Besonic.com charts. "City at Night", the jazziest of my songs, was selected to the top 10% (out of 4000 entries) in the Unisong International Songwriting Contest. Because recently I travelled a lot around the world (Germany, Kuwait, Greece, Belgium), it's been difficult to record the many songs that I wrote over the last 3 or 4 years. But that's going to change soon! I'm setting up a studio and cooperating with an excellent guitar player, who's taken my music yet to a higher level.
