Artist description
Imminent Wrath (formerly Mindframe) is a local,
all original rock band based in the Baltimore area.
The music is best described as "Hard Rock with a
"Progressive Edge" while still expressing a melodic
balance. It is difficult to compare Imminent Wrath
to another band, but it could be said that the sound
is "Stone Temple Pilots meet VanHalen meets Pearl Jam"
and then some. The music is very punchy, guitar driven
rock and the vocals are a well balanced combination
of melody and "Blow Torch" power. The songs are not
your little brother's collection of music with pointless,
juvenile lyrics. Every song from this band has meaning,
taste, feeling or some sort of life lesson. The songs
make a point that actually comes from a life experience
that you or someone you know has dealt with.

Artist History
The band was originally formed by Donnie Stoval
with Chris Bardroff and three former band members
who are no longer with the band. They were initially
interested in "Recording Projects" only with no
intentions of being a gigging band. The motivation
was purely personal satisfaction. The group's name
was The Brutal Groove. After two complete CD albums
of music, Donnie and Chris decided to go for it.
After many months of searching for a bass player,
Kevin Browne found them. Kevin suggested that the
new Power Trio would be wise to check out his friend
Tim Stolte to fill the empty lead vocal position.
Kevin gave Tim a copy of The Brutal Groove's last
recording project along with lyric sheets. After one
week, Tim showed up to his first practice with the
Power Trio. They didn't even bother to try out several
other vocalist who were lined up for auditions. Tim's
power and instant feel for the songs was all she wrote.
The new band was now formed and the name was changed
to "Mindframe" in early 2001. By late Summer of 2001
while setting up their first web site, it was
discovered that there were a number of other bands
named "Mindframe". Needless to say, the search was
on for a new name. "Imminent Wrath" was the final
choice out of about one hundred names.
