Artist History
Near the end of 1999 the ashes of the old millennium began to accrete and spin in large part because of the inward pressure of gravity. Over a period of several months three distinct bodies were formed; The binary system Nick 1/Nick 2 and the nearby M33 alpha-cluster of Mike. An asteroid belt circling the Andromeda Galaxy known as the 'Scott Belt' was drawn in by the gravity of this newly formed system and the three stars fused with the rocky asteroid belt in a violent and catastrophic proton-proton chain reaction. Astronomers have calculated that their temperature has levelled off at roughly 101 MDU's. Their volume divided by their mass equals their density. |
