Artist History
Inthevisualz consists of six individuals-five emcees and a DJ-spawning from both hemispheres of California. Azma, Z.G.S., Uforic, RezRnez, Switch Griffens, and DJ Ironic formulate the Inthevisualz roster. While attending school in San Diego during the fall of 98, the crew began building a reputation for their diversity both musically and culturally. Representing a wide spectrum of backgrounds, Inthevisualz brings together the common aspects of life from five different perspectives. Each member has his own unique style and flavor, and no two are alike. Their diverse ethnicities, styles, and lyrical content combine to attract crowds of all ages and races.
Since forming the group in 98, Inthevisualz have independently released their first EP, entitled Mental Criminals, as well as numerous singles on various San Diego hip hop compilations. The group has performed at many popular venues opening for touring artists as well as headlining their own shows. On November 30, 2001 Inthevisualz collaborated with the band-Bred n Buddha-to win first place at the Grossmont College 2001 Musical Showcase Battle of the Bands competition. The group is currently in the studio working on their next full-length album, as well as many singles and solo projects. Inthevisualz have created a buzz loud enough to establish a loyal and rapidly growing fan base in cities ranging from Sacramento to San Diego.
All business aspects are handled internally within the crew, where each individual has assumed responsibility in their relative field. For any booking inquires or questions please contact Osmar F. Espinoza at (619) 469-5780, or email: azma@inthevisualz.com
