Artist description
In a world of plain vanilla, angst ridden Singer/Songwriters, rises a breath of fresh reality simply stated in the songs of Thomas Eckel.
Do you know what love feels like? That momentary lapse of reason when you feel you can achieve the impossible? Or the moment that your heart collapses, strangled by the truth and pain of unrequited love?
Thomas Eckel, an accomplished singer/pianist who plays the instrument as easily as we breathe air, can make you feel those emotions in every vocal rise and fall, in every keystroke on the board.
Influenced by the great singer/songwriters; Billy Joel, Elton John and Bruce Hornsby, Thomas also found a thread in his soul inspired by British staples;
The Beatles, Peter Gabriel, Tears for Fears and Kate Bush. That eclectic mix of music gives Thomas' original compositions an edge and feel not found in the average Singer/Songwriter.
Far from average, Thomas has achieved goals easily found to be too lofty for others. |
