Artist History
Formed in September of 1984 in Brookfield,
Wisconsin, NRK included Jeff O'Rourke (guitar),
Matt Collins (drums), Pete Flessas (bass) and
Brian Sajnog (vocals). The first real band for all
of us, NRK's music was an eclectic mix of classic
punk rock and 80's hardcore. NRK made quite a splash
on the Milwaukee hardcore scene and eventually helped
spawn several other local bands in the 80's. Unforturnately,
NRK played their last show in August 18, 1985. Jeff O'Rourke subsequently played
guitar with the bands Earthshoe and later with the Phunk Junkeez from Arizona. Matt Collins
played drums with the Arizona band Jesus Chrysler
Supercar. Pete formed several bands after NRK including the goth band Shades of Pale
and the Blood Daisies. He's now a lawyer in Milwaukee. |
