Artist description
Hard Funk, Rock, Reggae, stylings with a twist of craziness.
Guerrilla Funk Monster is a four piece original band with an
experimental musical style that blends rock, blues, funk, punk,
reggae, and world music in such a unique way that it is hard to
categorize. They simply cannot be defined by just one genre.
Their eclectic mix of songs provides the audience with diversity,
intensity, and creative musicianship.
THE ONE THING THAT REMAINS THE SAME IS THAT THEY KEEP PEOPLE
CAPTIVATED ON AND OFF OF THE DANCE FLOOR ALL NIGHT LONG WITH THEIR
INTENSE GROOVE-ORIENTED SOUND.

Artist History
The band’s current line up has been together since November 2000 and has
amassed a lengthy repatoire of over 30 first-rate originals, a dozen solid covers,
and hours of sweaty, danceable jams. They have an extremely strong presence
on stage and exhibit a seemingly endless amount of energy regardless of whether
they are playing their first song or their last. During the summer of 2002, Guerrilla
Funk Monster played all across Canada from Victoria, BC to St.John’s, NFLD. |
