Artist History The band frumpy originally formed in 1994 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, but quickly changed into the band Porcelain Frogs. The Porcelain Frogs enjoyed a modicum of success in their homestate, but eventually disbanded as members moved out of slow moving Iowa. The lead singer/lyricist Josiah B Bildner and guitarist/composer Seth Mulvihill reverted to the original frumpy name in 2000 and have been collaborating on projects in whatever free time they have available.
