Artist History Hailing from Huntington Beach, California Odd Project formed in the fall of 2000. After recording two demos, which wasn't what they were looking for musically, they underwent a couple line-up changes and the band continued to write material. The band's most recent 2003 demo contains material that Odd Project excelled in: with influences ranging from metal, to hardcore, to emo, due to the diversity of musical tastes between the band members. The music is aimed towards combining a punch in your face sound with uplifting melodies to create an aggressive, yet emotional feeling. The demo caught the ears of many in the record industry leading the band to sign a multi-album deal with Indianola Records. Look for a spring release from Odd Project.
