Artist description Originally a third generation native of Las Vegas, Michelle Lee moved to the Seattle area in 1996 to pursue a degree in literature--with emphasis in Irish and Women's Studies. A natural talent, she has been performing solo and in chamber, theatrical, and choir settings for most of her life. Her musical gift is a reflection of the impact of her mother's unique solo voice and her natural ability to hear harmony coupled with her father's passion for rhythm as a drummer. Michelle Lee's unique blending of folk music with all genres of music--from classical to new age to new wave and bluegrass--covers the musical spectrum. She is the culmination of all of the music that she has ever been exposed to. A hybrid worth investigating. Enjoy!
