Artist History
Born and raised in San Diego California. Angela was singing with her guitar in hand almost since the time when she first learned to speak. Starting out entertaining family and friends by the time she was 7 Angela was well on her way. She gained experience performing at school events and talent contests locally in San Diego.
When she was 12 Angela got a job at a mall. She would stand in front of a karoke store and encourage people to go into the store and record themselves singing along with their favorite tunes. She loved this job for they just let her sing! Angela would stand in front of the store singing up to four hours at a time. The crowd loved it and soon people would come from all over just to hear that "little red head”
Her musical resume soon grew and includes being part of various San Diego Youth/Childrens Theatre, and other productions she also has had the honor of singing the National Anthem at San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium. (Home to the Chargers and Padres). She became a regular at local street fair events, cafe's and performing arts centers.
In 199? Angela was introduced to Michael Natter whom wrote two fabulous songs for her. She recorded them as demo’s. These songs showcased her vocal abilities and Michael's writing talents. While continuing her pursuit of original material she found Kirk Arnold. Kirk believed in Angela and two songs that he wrote are now a part of her live performances..She traveled to Los Angeles for the opportunity to collaborate with Songwriter/ Producer Jan Linder-Koda, Marty Rifkin, Steven McClintock, Marc Greene as well as various talented musicians and back up singers.
This project helped produce her first CD titled “STEPPEN OUT” In the summer of 2001 she joined her first band. They worked very hard together, learning her original material as well as cover tunes. They did some local shows and the response from the crowds was fantastic. However by the time the band was really getting ready to take off, they had a change of direction. Although they remain close to Angela’s heart ,soon after the shift in musical direction Angela and the band parted ways.
With hopes of performing again soon, she has since been working on finding a new band for upcoming gigs.In the winter of 2002 Angela began working with talented musician/composer/producer
Dave Wagner. Dave and Angela have been busy co-writing songs and recording them at Dave's Bleedstreet Studio's located in Julian California. Dave has been the most positive influence to date in her career. Together they make a great song writing team and the new material is shaping up to be quite amazing. They plan on having a cd completed by mid summer of 2002. There will be some
mp3 samples available for your enjoyment posted soon so be sure to check back and give them a listen. After the cd is completed they will be entertaining offers from labels for national release and distribution. The future looks bright for the "little red head" who started out singing and touching listeners heart's just a few short years ago.
