Artist description
On flight from the Berklee School and across the Southmidwest, Chris Vibberts (Gene pitney, Allison McCleod and The Infamous They) lit on Kerrville, Texas long enough to meet Ross Rubin (late of Kind Stranger and Schwa) and trade some tunes.
One year and 12,000 miles later, Ross and Chris bumped into each other in a Cotati, California
Quickstop. Chris' natural grace and double-sharp music schoolin' technical wizardry were a perfect match for Ross' rough-hewn, studiously lazy pastage of musical goofiness.
Steven Kennedy lends basstones, vocal harmonies and additional Texano.
The songwriting stew already cussin' and bubbling, Nick Rupiper stirred in some piquant percussion and the occasional jew's harp solo and HiGh HorSe cantered off into a blazing, new frontier of Strange Song....t |
