Artist History
Force 4-D Began in early 2001 with Dan Flores on Rythem guitar and Vocals, Jay Sherlock playing Bass and Doing Backup Vocals and Harmonies, Dan Watson on Lead guitar and Backup Vocals, and later added Brandon Klopp on Drums shortly after the First album was recorded. The sound they create has been best described as "Sci-Fi Metal" which incorporates Metal, Punk, and Heavy Rock influences. (Similar bands include: Powerman 5000, Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine) Force 4-D recorded their First self titled E.P. in late 2000 with Zircon Skye Records which was realeased in early 2001. They received airplay on over 120 College radio stations accross the united states, and remained on the top 20 on many stations for several weeks. Including KMUD, KLFX, WNSU, and WMVL, some of the biggest names in college radio today. They also clinched the top 3 spot on WSJU out of NY for 4 weeks straight. Force 4-D also receives regular airplay on KOCP, 95.9 the Octopus and was even asked by the station to come and interview live on the air. Their Self titled record has sold over 2000 copies locally without the help of distribution. They have done extensive touring all over the West Coast, including the Whisky, The Key Club, and the Ventura Theatre. Playing over 120 shows in the last 2 years combined. Their Mailing List consists of over 1000 members and has a loyal following in the Tri County Area's.
