Artist History
The Story so far:
About a ago two teens, Joel Mines
and Simon Truss formed a small (and
pretty crap) band in the garage of
Joel's house under the name of Half
Of Nothing. The two practised
happily and badly having fun like
young boys should until one-day
Joel's evil neighbour threatened to
sue them
This didn't deter the boys though and
joined by Tom "Snappy" Knight on
bass and Nick Bealey on rhythm
guitar they kept playing…
But all was not well, as the Evil
Neighbour was still unhappy and got
very close to legal action, oh no!
So the boys had to find a new place
to practice. Fortunately one of
Simon's friends Seb told them of a
magical place… a studio hidden in the
darkest depths of a youth club where
no evil neighbour would ever find them.
After a month of fun Snappy left because
of, um "Creative differences" and the
boys were without a bass player, this
prompted the boy to change there
name to Nu-Rotic Avenue for no particular
reason but this didn't stop Simon,
Nick and Joel who kept writing songs
and playing. After months of searching
the boys found a new bass player by
the name of Rik Kato Rik joined the
boys in playing their happy ditties and
it was very fun.
Then a few days later the four were
joined by their friend the infamous
Patrick "Uni-brow" Fryer on Sax…
Patrick is mad and very hairy. Soon
after rik left and with no-one left to
play bass si steped up to take his
place... soon after this Si and Sparky
had some beers and once again decided
for no apparent reason to change their
band name...
And so Silent.J was born... |
