Artist History
As A Trick was formed by Nicklas and Jimmy in Skellefteċ, December 1999.
The two of them played together for a while and went to Haparanda to record
some songs, just before Ronnie (who had played with Nicklas and Jimmy before in Lineout)
joined the band to play the bass. One guitar wasn´t enough so they asked Ronnies
cousin Peter to join the band. The band wrote some songs and rehearsed a couple
of month. Without a singer the band went into Studio Spiff to record their first demo
"Demo2001" it was recorded in December 2000. After that Jimmy moved to Stockholm and the
band had to find another drumer. They found John, he played with the band for allmost one year
until Jimmy moved back. Now the band wanted to do this right so they asked Andreas if hi would
like to sing in the band. He started to sing and play guitar, couse Peter was studing and wasen't
home much. Peter left the band. Demo 2002 was recorded in Studio Spiff 28/3 to 1/4 2002. Three months
later the band went into Sudio Spiff again to record their third demo cd "All Songs Recorded Naked".
Allmost one year later the band went into the studio for the fourth time to record some songs. The demo tape was
named "When It Get's Dark". And in July 2003 the band recorded their self titled demo "As A Trick".
Thats about it and if nothing else is writen here then nothing particular has occurred. |
