Artist History
DESPISED ICON was formed in September 2000 with the intention of creating music that is at once brutal and honest.
Their style is a mixture of death metal, hardcore and grindcore.
Preoccupied with the current state of the human condition, the band attempts to expose in its own way the vices of man.
The group features members that have also played with Neuraxis, Necrotic Mutation, Vocifération, Heavens Cry and In Dying Days.
After two years of existence and a few line-up changes, the band recorded its first album "Consumed by your Poison" with Yannick St-Amand
(Neuraxis - A Passage Into Forlorn, Martyr - Extracting The Core). This album contains 10 songs and is available on Galy Records.
