Artist History Deep Under Dirt announces that drummer Matt Loria has joined the band after an almost one year search. Band officially adopts name and logo after a lengthy name search. The band was to be called "Rosemary Midnight" after an original song title, however after much discussion and feedback from friends and family, the name is changed. Todd Baker joins unnamed band on bass and keyboards. Stephen Phillips joins founding band members on vocals. Brian Harshaw and Brian Theodore meet via the Internet (musician.com) and form the core of what is to become Deep Under Dirt. The original name of the duo was "Dark Skies."
