Press Reviews
Taken from LEGACY magazine:Ok people, something's going on in america. i know there are quite a few death metal lunatics among you who like suffocation or pyrexia better than their own moms, but there are at least as many who are getting bored fast with these (quote unquote) rather dull grunts and blasts. if this sounds like you then THE YEAR OF OUR LORD is exactly the right thing for you. the band is from the us, MASS to be exact and plays exactly the kind of death metal that i have always loved and worshipped. think sweden, think AT THE GATES, brilliant riffing, driving beats, blasts and no-holds-barred screaming. no kindergarten melodies as in DARK TRANQUILITY, but straight forward and well structured, now add to that superb twin-guitar fights on the left and right channel of your stereo.this is the kind of quality you could only expect on WAR music otherwise, that much as a hint for those who have a clue. ok, i want you to write this down: get THE YEAR OF OUR LORD!
