Artist History
Born to a musician in Los Angeles, Issa was exposed to music at an early age. Since then, she has been writing her own music, as well as singing, playing drums, percussion, keyboards, guitar and programming /producing/. Issa has captivated audiences in the Los Angeles club scene, fronting her own electronica project. Landing a publishing deal with EMI and headlining packed shows @ L.A.'s Viper Room & Luna Park, Issa created a buzz and quite a fan base in the local music scene. She later recorded a record, produced by producer/remixer,Danny Saber (Black Grape, Garbage, U2, Marilyn Manson,Rolling Stones, Seal). In 1999, Issa toured as a percussionist / back-up vocalist for Khaleel, an artist on Hollywood Records. They toured the U.S. & Canada opening up for such acts as Shawn Mullins, Everlast and Rusted Root. Issa has also been active doing recording sessions both as a musician and vocalist for various projects such as Michael Hutchences' (INXS) solo record, Forest For The Trees (Dreamworks) with a release date of early 2001, both a Madonna re-mix record and a Nine Inch Nails re-mix record released in early 2000 on Vitamin Records, and composer, George Sarah?s upcoming release. Issa is a cutting-edge, up and coming female in the world of modern music. |

Press Reviews
Listen.com wrote: Intense vocal hooks stand out over driving electronic rhythms, harsh guitars and no-nonsense melodies. Alternative radio candidates are likely to showcase their Sneaker Pimps-style on a mid-season episode of Beverly Hills 90210. |
