Artist History Press (Robin Smith) started as a drummer in several Chicago bands, eventually incorporating electronic drums and a sampler. Press then moved on to create electronic music independent from other human beings, eventually taking courses in recording engineering, and immersing himself in a world of electronic processing. What developed is a musical personality, one that would forge a path where new styles of electronic music could be tampered with, opened, and redesigned. Enjoy.
