Artist History
Acknowledged as one of the pioneers of New Age music in Canada,
Pascal released his first album, “Minos ” in 1978. Two other albums
followed including “De Harmonia Universalia” in 1980, where he first used
evocations of Gregorian Chants which became a touchstone of his later works.
A few years later, Pascal explored a completely different avenue in
music, when known as TRANS-X, he achieved worldwide success with the hit
single “Living On Video.”
This pioneering masterpiece of pop electronica sold over 2 million
copies, reached Top Ten on the British and European charts, and also garnered
a platinum record in Mexico , a prestigious 'Felix' Award in Quebec, and has
become a perennial classic on Modern Rock, Urban Crossover, and Dance radio.
Pascal’s varied musical career has brought him to Los Angeles, Paris,
Barcelona, and most currently back to Montreal.
