Artist description
Mary Arden Collins combines earthen grooves and blues-infused rock, with a "funky kick in the pants", creating a fresh, organic sound. Her subjects range from the political to the personal; from the quest for spirituality to the quest for revenge on Jiffy Lube. Her debut CD "Mary Arden Collins" and her newest release "Alone w/ the B-Sides", both on idie label Feelin' Groovy Records, received commercial radio airplay in the Philadlephia area, while earning critical acclain from national publications such as "Radio & Records". She is currently working on her newest CD with Cameron Stone (Poe, Tracy Chapman, Jewel), taking her music to an even higher level. |
