Press Reviews
"His songs - extremely well-crafted, thoughtful, and heartfelt - resonate with decades of great American songwriters, from Buddy Holly.....to Bob Dylan and beyond." - Picked Best of the Month - (Stereo Review) "Kevin Montgomery is one of the better singer/songwriters in Nashville, so he deserves to be heard. He writes excellent love songs and pop songs, and he sings them with a voice that most of the guys on Music Row would kill for. I could go on and on about how impossibly catchy "Melrose" is, or what a magnificient little slice of life is presented in "Another Long Story". Rather than do that, you'll just have to wait until the CD is released to hear for yourself" - In Review (Charles Earle) "Nashville singer-songwriter turned in a stellar debut back in '93, FEAR NOTHING on A&M, before dsappearing into obscurity. He's back and on his own label. "Let's All Go to California" is heartland rock and soul, and the stunning ballad "Angel Tonight" showcases his way with melody and introspection. Available at www.kevinmontgomery.com." - Mario Tarradell (Dallas Morning News-Thursday, March 2nd, 2000) |
