Artist description
Funky ass beats mixed with a jazz sensibility. Influences of rock, rap, and reggae. This music defies description. It is an amalgamation of all the African American styles introduced in the 20th century blended and blurred using 21st century technology. After 50 odd years of watching the music industry suck the life out of black musical culture, false1 is happily bypassing pop music pimpdom to write, record and distribute the false sound false's way. |

Artist History
After 20 years of playing the NE Ohio circuit false1 realized that the combination of wacked out musicians and the business' fascination with glitter over substance left false1 with one alternative: create music by yourself for yourself. In conjuction with a couple of like minded extremely talented players we pursue the cosmology that FUNK IS ITS OWN REWARD. |
