Artist description
E.J. Gold offers sweeping invocational sounds varied in their flavor and with roots in many traditions. Chanting, hypnotic piano pieces, and cascading musical backdrops for dervish dancing are just some examples of the musical depth and breadth of this artist. He draws from a realm of mystical spaces and higher dimensions. Let the music act as your vehicle, and let the shaman be your guide

Musical Influences
Chanting from the Tibetan and other ancient cultures is reminiscent of Gold's experimental pieces. As a composer, Gold is influenced by rhythms and harmonic structures inherent in the music of the Middle East and Islamic North Africa. His music also reflects his research into ancient temple dancing and song patterns, particularly as preserved in certain monasteries and dervish communities. |
