Fueled by a belief that music should be pushed as far as possible and all avenues of sound traveled, Corridor Seven screams to be heard and refuses to be ignored. While utilizing drum loops and electronic elements the band does not compromise the human touch that is often lost when working with machines. Blending infectious melodies with pop hooks, Corridor Seven has found a thin line to walk, creating a unique sound that fuses rock with technology.Formed in 1997 Corridor Seven consists of five individuals, each bringing their own personality, influence and experience to the band that is reflected in the music they create. They are, Michael Martin (vocals and guitar), Jovan Jewett (bass and backing vocals), Nicholas Alexiou (drums) and Elton Pacheco (guitar).The band has received a good amount of attention from Boston area newspapers and magazines praising Corridor Seven’s live performances and studio efforts as well as their innovation and desire to initiate a new movement in popular music. Corridor Seven has also shared the stage with national acts such as Sevendust, The Nixons and Skid Row. They recently licensed their songs “See this through” and “Pseudo” to ESPN that were used during the summer 2000 X Games broadcast throughout the world. Licensing was also granted to two independent film makers, first was PF Productions for the upcoming film “Jimmy’s gonna get it” and for the Per/Spective Productions film “Geoff shot his car”. In addition Radio stations throughout New England have invited the band to be guest DJ’s on local music shows.Constantly looking for new mediums to bring their music and live performances to the next level, Corridor Seven leaves their audience astonished at the enormous sound and feeling that is created. At a showcase featuring over 240 bands from around the world in which Corridor Seven placed second, missing the top spot by a mere .04 points. The beginning of 2001 finds the band preparing to go back into the studio to write and record new material. With so much accomplished in such a short amount of time Corridor Seven has set their sights on the future of rock music and the role they intend to play in shaping it. |

Initially formed in the Boston area in 1997 by Michael Martin the band’s current line up was completed with the addition of Nicholas Alexiou and Jovan Jewett in January 2000 and Elton Pacheco in January 2001. |
