Artist History I was part of the Seattle rock scene in the Eighties, just before it boomed (damn). I sang in a number of bands that you wouldn't know, including Vertigo, Scary People, and Jonny Quest and the Mood Swings. I have a degree in Musical Composition from the University of Washington. It took me five years of college to realize that I really just want to pick up my guitar, strum some chords, and write silly, self-pitying songs. Sure, I can write string quartets, but why?
