Artist History
Originally influenced by MerseyBeat, Carl Ververs took cues from a wide variety of bands and composers to create a unique blend of musical styles.Through the 80's and during various attempts to start bands in The Netherlands, Carl found that his creativity was better served going it alone. After moving to Chicago in 1991, he started recording at home. This culminated into a small release of a demo CD in 1997, Ververs Verses.Gratuitous Tunes is a collection of studies, covers and instrumentals. The Real Life, scheduled for release in the fall of 1999, will be Carl's first real album. |
