Artist description - song weaver, vocalist- Renae often transcends traditional boundaries when writing her music- hopes to create her own niche' someday- Renae testifies that she is merely a vessel- her talents are of a "higher" source- therefore, most creations stay as close to natural form as possibe- -Renae loves ballads- the storylines / warm timbers...She does not seek perfection in her music, for she feels that music in the truest form is not perfect- Raw, honest emotion- sorrow, passion,-the sound of the human voice- breaking on a note of emotion-though some of her creations cry out for full blown arrangements her one love remains the simplistic sound of acoustic- What is more excellent than the muse of voice / acoustic guitar? She wants to utilize her given talents to further humanity, such as Jewel and her Clearwater Mission Project-Renae is researching and developing a program for Fibromyalgia/Myofacial Syndrome-and hopefully, one day a cure will come. She says, she has just begun to mature as a vocalist/songwriter, though she has performed for many years. She credits her growth to a cluster of people, fellow songwriters brought together by George Hollier, pioneer- songwriters night, -the superbness of the quality of the songs there was so excellent she found a new identity as an artist, a stillness, and a new view. It is all now just becoming very interesting, and hopes that you will stick it out with her, to see the outcome of her newfound maturity. Her favorite venues? House concerts, and theaters- -they are intimate, you can interact with your audience--the people I sing to heal me, inspire me- -make me grow-as an artist-the best of the journey now lies ahead.

Artist History Some of Renae's past performances include- opening act at Lafayette Heymann Performing Arts center(comedy, musical, audience interaction) as well as performances-Festival International-Lafayette- Her favorite venues? House concerts. Renae has produced a concert event called "Acoustic Celebrations", which showcases songwriter's acoustic style music, embelished by poetry and art.
