Artist description I am a Scottish accoustic player with my roots in the Blues . About 10 years ago I gave up playing electric and devoted my time to accoustic Blues and slide. I am also a member of Edinburgh's "Clanned Heat" promo outfit which aims to keep the Blues alive in the Centre of Edinburgh and Scotland.

Music Style The Blues Delta,Country Blues and current Blues.Also I am playing some Cajun and trying out Celtic .

Musical Influences Robert Johnson,Missippii Fred McDowell,Ry Cooder.

Similar Artists I respect the music of Eric Bibb, Corey Harris and Guy Davis, and anyone else who gets up on stage and makes it happen.

Artist History In 1990 I teamed up with a old School friend Douglas Seath and we formed "Slidin' Delta" . We are now putting together a Cajun set , with me reverting to electric and Dougie handling the accordion. In 1998 I teamed up with George Anderson and we formed the "Arhoolies", and played at several Blues Fests and venues around Scotland.The Arhoolies also cut three CD's. I am about to start work on a cd with Doug and my own solo one , probably both will be released in the Autumn of 2002.
