Music Style
The song is the main thing. Melodic, warm, quirky, dark, touches of latin percussion, quiet, loud, the odd small 80s keyboard noise - the main ambition is for each song to be an animal in its own right. |

Artist History
Fredrik Kinbom moved from Stockholm to Brighton with his guitar and a batch of self-written songs. He recorded his critically acclaimed debut album "Frozen Jungle Entertainment" in several studios in such far-flung places such as Brazil and Sweden, but it was at the Metway Studios in Brighton that Fredrik met and recorded with Toby May and Steve Baker who along with Rich Smith came onboard and made Frock a four-piece band.
Since Frock have been playing as a band they have regularly headlined gigs, played the Brighton Rocks event and BBC Radio 1's "One Live in Brighton", done a radio session for Totally Radio and demoed some new material for EMI Publishing.
Frock are working on lots of exciting new material and Fredrik is experimenting with the new musical possibilities of Frock being a full band. Songs such as live favourite "Beautiful Death" are strong indications of the new direction that the band are going in. After such a positive year Frock are aiming to capitalise on the interest they have had so far and take it to the next level in 2004. |

Press Reviews
"Skirting round the edges of straight-forward accessible pop, Frock might be described as quirky, with their spaced-out rustic charm and subversion of traditional pop values. Part Super Furry Animals part ‘Sergeant Pepper’ era Beatles, part, well, Frock actually."
